Since my late teens, I’ve been struggling with the feeling of being overwhelmed and drained after just doing a little work.

And to be honest. It’s an awful feeling of not being able to do much even though you want to do so.

And it has increased my stress. Which has affected my productivity.

And in times as such. How do I regain my energy?

There are a few things I’d do to regain my energy and which can help you too to get things done.

1. Write it down:

Sometimes when my mind is all fuzzy and I feel all out of energy. What I do is just take a Notepad and start writing. Write whatever comes in my mind and just let go of stuff out of my head.

2. Breathing exercise:

There are times when I don’t even feel like writing stuff down and all I want is to lay on bed and just do nothing, Because everything seems so exhausting. So what I do in such moments is just lay down as I am, and do some breathing exercise.

It helps me feel light and calm, and sometimes it gives me the energy that I need.

3. Eating healthy:

Yeah, Yeah, I get it. You’ve heard it like a thousand times.

“Eat healthy, and it’ll help you in this and that”.

But what does it really mean to eat healthy, and how it can help you regain your energy?

I mean, I’m no expert, but if I simply put it.

It’d be like this.

On days when I feel drained. What I like to do is, do small challenges for a month or sometimes even more, and in that time. What I do is make my eating schedule for that time, “HEALTHY MONTH SCHEDULE”.

(Haha, sounds silly right, don’t worry, I won’t cringe now, but I’d be in the next 2 years thinking back and cringing on myself, haha).

And doing these challenges boosts my mood and makes me more energized throughout the day. I mean, It’s not like it happens right away, but in a few days or so I’m starting to feel much better.

Now, along with eating healthy. What could help you even more is to do is do some exercise. Which leads me to my next point.

4. Exercise:

As we were talking about eating healthy, There’s another thing beside eating healthy we hear quite often, do some exercise, and you’ll feel better and so.

But what does it really mean?

I’d say, going on an early morning walk is one of the way to calm your head and give you the boost you need to start your day(At least that’s how I do).

Along with it, you can either join a gym or just at home do some workout.

It keeps your mind busy and give you the distraction you need while recharging yourself.

It energizes you while keeping you fit.

Conclusion:

It’s okay to feel drained and overwhelmed from time to time. You don’t need to be hard on yourself.

You see, you are going in life with your own phase and rushing up will get you nowhere, and you’ll end up getting in to more mess.

So, the best thing you can do is to do what you can.

These are some basic things you can do to help yourself regain the energy you need.

And yes, I know as a fellow introvert it seems like a lot of work, and I get it.

Don’t start right away; take your time and make up your mind first.

And when you’re ready, do these small challenges to keep yourself busy while regaining your energy.

DO WHAT YOU CAN, AS LONG AS YOU CAN, AND TAKE YOUR TIME.
